Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced the reappointment of Stephen Spears of Plymouth to the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (Minnesota Housing) Board of Directors, effective March 4, 2026. Spears’ term expires January 7, 2030.
Spears leads Bremer’s Community Banking Team, overseeing secondary marketing and affordable lending functions. He supports the bank’s commitment to expand service to Black, Indigenous, and communities and businesses of color. He brings more than 25 years of financial services experience and deep expertise in residential lending, with prior senior leadership roles at KleinBank, GMAC-RFC, and U.S. Bank.
