Ohio Housing Finance Agency has begun the technical revision process for the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan. In accordance with OHFA’s two-year allocation plan, only minor revisions are expected for the 2017 period.

California’s new Low Income Weatherization Program (LIWP) offers financial incentives to cover a significant portion of energy efficiency and solar installation costs for eligible projects. LIWP funds will typically cover approximately 30-80% of the efficiency project costs and 50-100% of solar PV systems, depending on the scope of work, project size, projected GHG reductions, and other project variables. For LIWP to provide the highest value to your projects, enroll early in the predevelopment stage to get help planning the scope of work. LIWP incentives may be integrated as part of a rehabilitation project or used for a standalone energy retrofit project.
Kentucky Housing Corporation is currently drafting amendments to its 2016 Consolidated Action Plan and 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan to incorporate the National Housing Trust Fund. A public hearing will be held to solicit public input.
Amendments have been made to the FY2015-2019 Consolidated Plan as well as the FY2016 Action Plan. The amendments include strategies and information on implementing the NHTF and a public comment period is forthcoming.
