Holly Wiedemann, founder and president of AU Associates and NH&RA Board Chair, Mayor Linda Gorton and Council member Josh McCurn held a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 10 to officially open Lexington’s newest affordable housing development for seniors, Meadowthorpe Landing.

Woda Cooper Companies recently completed a $3.2 million rehabilitation of the 24 units at Maple Hill Apartments in Cadillac, MI. The substantial rehabilitation included new kitchens with ENERGY STAR appliances, new baths, new flooring, windows, doors and energy-efficient HVAC systems, plumbing, insulation, roofs, siding and landscaping plus more.

Shannon Mowery has been promoted to Vice President of Supportive Services and will join the Shared Services team reporting to Mark H. Dambly, President of Pennrose. Mowery has been with Pennrose Management Company since 2002 and has been a highly accomplished leader of the Supportive Services team.

Regions Affordable Housing announced Rachel Thomas-Phillips has been appointed to serve as senior vice president and relationship manager in its Originations Group. Thomas-Phillips is based in Regions’ downtown Austin office and will focus on sourcing and originating affordable housing transactions throughout Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Tidwell Group is pleased to announce that Christopher Bailey, CPA, and Morgan Mahaffey, JD have been promoted to Partner.

MassHousing provided a total of $30.3 million in affordable housing financing to the Fenway Community Development Corporation for the refinancing, major renovation and preservation of affordability for mixed-income households at the 97-unit Newcastle Saranac in Boston’s South End.
