Pennrose has closed on financing for the 1.25-acre parcel and started construction on the 3-story 1920s era historic Mary D. Stone school building.  The redevelopment plan includes the renovation of the historic school, demolition of later built wings, and construction of a new addition.

Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. has closed financing and is commencing construction on its 20th  development in Pennsylvania. The new 56-unit townhome development called Kellinger Greene was awarded Low Income Housing Tax Credits by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) in 2019 and is being financed with a construction loan from Park National Bank, permanent financing from PHFA and York County HOME Loan Program, and tax credit equity from CREA.

One of NH&RA’s earliest members, Allen Lew, died in New York on June 23 from complications from COVID-19. Lew was a DC planning executive who built a generation of Washington landmarks and served under three mayors. In December of 2019, he started a new job as senior vice chancellor for facilities and planning for the City University of New York.

Mike Witt has joined Cinnaire as vice president, Asset Management, in the company’s Lansing office. In this position, Will will be responsible for overseeing investments made by Cinnaire in numerous multifamily housing developments across multiple business lines.

Cinnaire announced Ryan Robinson has been promoted to executive vice president, Operations and Corporate Risk Management. In this new role, Robinson will guide Cinnaire in the development of a clear focus on execution and accountability, drive organizational efficiency, proactively manage the organization’s risk profile and continue to oversee Asset Management.

Enterprise Community Partners announced the hire of Angelique Kelly-Lara as chief people officer and the promotion of senior vice president Stephanie Shack to the newly created position of chief legal officer. As senior leaders at the organization, Kelly-Lara will be responsible for all human resource services, including acquisition strategies that attract top, diverse talent, career development and the HR business partner team, and Shack will oversee legal operations across Enterprise’s entities nationwide.
