Idaho Four Percent Round with CDBG, HOME NOFA
The Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) released the notice of funding availability (NOFA) for $3 million in Community Development Block Grant Cares Act (CDBG-CV) grants and $2.0 million in HOME Program funds for multifamily rental housing development projects in Idaho that will target low- and very-low-area median income (AMI) households. Repayment of these funds are subject to the proposed cash flow of the project.

Oregon Offers $65 Million though Project Turnkey, First Project Selected
The Oregon Legislature allocated a total of $65 million for Project Turnkey, for the purpose of acquiring motels/hotels for use as non-congregate shelter for people experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.
Oregon $150 Million Landlord Compensation Fund
The Landlord Compensation Fund program was funded in December by the Oregon Legislature with $150 million. This program will be launched through an online application portal to streamline the collection of landlord-provided data on rent collections.

California Updates PIS Package Form B
The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) updated its Form B to include instructions. Placed in Service (PIS) packages submitted on March 1, 2021 and later must use the updated Form B. For PIS packages submitted before or on Feb. 28, 2021, you can use the existing Form B. However, if a critical update is required on the Form B TCAC may require a new Form B be filled out using the updated Form B.

The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) published the 2021 credit estimates, as well as a list of the four percent credit applications received as of February 4.

Michigan Updates Corrected HOME/TCAP Gap Financing Preliminary Rankings
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) corrected the preliminary rankings for the Notice of Intent stage of its HOME/Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP) Gap Financing Program for Round 13. Almost $49 million in gap funding was requested from 28 proposals submitted.
