The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) recently released a notice inviting public comments on Form 8586, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit. The form is used by rental housing owners offering low-income housing to claim federal low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC). No significant changes were made to Form 8586.
