NH&RA’s Historic Preservation Development Council (HPDC) is pleased with the inclusion in Senator Reid’s draft Extenders legislation of a provision that would extend the higher tax credit rate for historic rehabilitation expenditures incurred on projects located in the Gulf Opportunity (GO) Zone. The bill would extend through 2010 the higher credit rates established by the Gulf Opportunity Zone Act of 2005.
NH&RA’s Historic Preservation Development Council will next meet during the NH&RA Affordable Housing Conference & 2010 Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, Fla. on March 11-13.
