Starting this summer, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has opened the Building Performance Partnership (BPP), a program designed to engage owners and managers of LEED-certified buildings and optimize the performance of buildings through data collection and analysis. The BPP program will expand efforts to understand how buildings perform in the years after LEED-certification and will help establish a comprehensive green building performance database, and facilitate standardization of reporting metrics and analytics to establish new building performance benchmarks.
