The Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) has released a blacklined version of its draft 2011 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) for its low-income housing tax credit program. With regard to proposed changes, the updated QAP requires sponsors to pay a nonrefundable annual compliance monitoring fee of $35.00 per tax credit unit; and requires that a complete copy of the CDA Application Submission Package be submitted to request 4% tax credits for projects funded by tax-exempt bonds issued by local jurisdictions.
