The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has announced a meeting for the Rural Housing Workgroup. This meeting is being held in response the agency’s increased awareness of the unique challenges in serving rural populations. TDHCA hopes that hearing from stakeholders and other community advocates will help the agency develop programs, policies, and rules that will aid in the provision of services to those living in rural areas. The meeting will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at TDHCA Headquarters located at 221 East 11th Street, Room 116 in Austin, Texas.
