A new data reporting tool is now available through the HUD USER website. The tool is called “State of the Cities Data Systems” (SOCDS) and provides Census data for all 723 of the U.S. principal cities for which Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes data for census year 2000, as well as the American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates for 2010. The system also includes a “Quick City“ feature, that allows users to access data on cities from all SOCDS systems.
