The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) has released its Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Certification Application for the year July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. CHDOs are private, nonprofit, community-based service organizations that are organized under state or local law to develop affordable housing in the communities they serve. Applications must be postmarked by May 25th. CHDO Guidelines for 2012-13 are also available at OHFA’s website. In addition, the Training Development Associates (TDA) will present a training course for CHDOs titled “Becoming a High Performing CHDO,” June 5-7 in Columbus. Click here for more information.
