The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) announced the submission deadline for its first round of competitive funding for 2013 Low Income Housing Tax Credits as August 15, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. MSHDA will allocate approximately 50% of Michigan’s 2013 tax credit ceiling in this first round. The credits will be allocated based on Michigan’s 2013-2014 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). To view the 2013-2014 QAP, please visit MSHDA’s website.


Applicants may submit projects financed with proceeds of tax-exempt bonds at any time, as those projects are not subjected to the state tax credit ceiling.


All applications must be submitted on MSHDA’s 2013 LIHTC Program Application and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Addendum I, and must include all required exhibits.
