Florida Housing Finance Corporation issued RFA 2016-102 for the development of homeless and multifamily housing located in medium and large counties. Under this RFA, Florida Housing Finance Corporation expects to have:
- up to an estimated $1,510,000 of Housing Credits available for award to proposed Developments located in Medium Counties.
- up to an estimated $2,110,000 of Housing Credits available for award to proposed Developments located in Large Counties.
An estimated $9 million of State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) funding will also be available.
With this RFA, the Corporation expects to begin implementation of a regional approach within which to award funding to assist in meeting the need for homeless housing throughout the state.
To solicit comments and suggestions from interested persons relative to the proposed RFA, a workshop is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on Thursday, December 17, 2015. The workshop will be available by telephone or interested parties may attend in person at Florida Housing’s offices located at 227 N. Bronough Street, 6th Floor Seltzer Room, Tallahassee, Florida.
