In response to statewide flooding, Governor Holcomb has issued a state disaster declaration in the following 22 counties: Benton, Carroll, Clark, Crawford, Dearborn, Elkhart, Floyd, Fulton, Harrison, Jasper, Jefferson, Lake, Marshall, Ohio, Perry, Pulaski, Spencer, St. Joseph, Starke, Switzerland, Warrick and White.

IHCDA is working collaboratively with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security on disaster recovery, including working to help provide housing options for persons who have lost their homes as a result of the flooding. As part of this effort, it is critical to have access to updated information on available vacant units.

This notice is a reminder to all property management agents of IHCDA funded rental housing to confirm that their property information is updated in the Indiana Housing Now website and through the IHCDA Online Management System tenant event reporting.

In addition, if any IHCDA funded properties have experienced damage, the owner must contact IHCDA. Please submit any damage reports to Doug Newport via dnewport@ihcda.in.gov utilizing Form K (available online under Appendix I of the Tax Credit Compliance Manual).

Questions about this notice can be directed to Matt Rayburn, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Real Estate Development Officer, via mrayburn@ihcda.in.gov.
