The Florida Housing Finance Corporation is implementing the following temporary Multifamily and Asset Management Program accommodations related to COVID-19.  We will continue to evaluate processes and provide periodic updates and guidance through Listservs.  We appreciate your patience as we continue to monitor the situation.

Public Meetings:

There is currently no change to the Board Meeting scheduled in Panama City Beach on April 17.

Until further notice, Florida Housing will plan to hold the upcoming Review Committee for RFA 2020-302 (CDBG-DR Monroe) on April 1 by teleconference.

RFA Applications:

Modifications to RFAs 2020-103 (Homeless); 2020-106 (Disabling Conditions/ Developmental Disabilities); 2020-102 (Persons with Special Needs); and 2020-208 (Workforce) will be issued that provide accommodations regarding Ability to Proceed Forms, removing the requirement to submit a hard copy application, as well as other information.  Application deadlines will NOT be changed in these modifications.  The current timeline can be found here:  RFA Timeline

Bond Pre-Closing Activities:

We are reviewing processes to effectuate all bond pre-closing activities by mail.  If you are scheduled for a bond closing in the coming weeks, you will be contacted by Florida Housing to coordinate those processes.

Inspections:

Our servicers have been advised that inspections of occupied units required by the Florida Housing Capital Needs Assessment Guide as well as any construction inspections of occupied units for rehabilitation and preservation developments may be suspended until further notice.  Any Florida Housing deadlines associated with such inspections will be accommodated.  Expect additional guidance regarding these issues.

Required Resident Programs:

Until further notice, Florida Housing will not monitor compliance with Resident Programs.
