Florida Housing issued RFA 2021-205 SAIL Financing of Affordable Multifamily Housing Developments to be Used in Conjunction with Tax-Exempt Bonds and Non-Competitive Housing Credits. Applications are expected to be due October 19. In addition to the complete RFA, the following documents have been posted to the RFA webpage:

  • Development Cost Pro Forma (Excel);
  • Exhibit A (Word);
  • Extremely Low-Income Maximum and National Housing Trust Fund Determination Worksheet (Excel);
  • All attachments sample pages;
  • FAQ regarding the online application process (pdf), revised 11-27-18; and
  • Applicant Certification Form.

Florida Housing also modified RFAs 2021-202, 2021-203 and 2021-205 regarding Local Government Contribution points. In these RFAs, the modifications clarify that the face amount of the loan and/or fee deferral will be used to determine Local Government Contribution points. These modifications should not impact forms that have already been executed by local governments, or require potential applicants to obtain a new form, as long as the face amount of the loan and/or fee deferral meets the amount set forth in the RFA. This will not affect the qualifications of the Local Government Area of Opportunity.
