The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) announced the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for approximately $160 million in federal Nation Housing Trust Fund funding for the Housing for a Healthy California (HHC) Program, Article I.
Applications must be submitted through the new online eCivis Grants Network System (GMS). The GMS will start to accept applications on Jan. 17, 2022. Over-the-counter applications are due Feb. 15, 2022 and Competitive applications are due March 1, 2022. Previously awarded HHC projects may apply for additional funds on an over-the-counter basis, while new projects will be evaluated on a competitive basis.
