Florida Housing is aware that some water service providers and some waste treatment service providers prefer to demonstrate the availability of water and/or sewer on forms that the provider created. Even if the form resembles the Florida Housing Finance Corporation Verification of Availability of Infrastructure form, the revision date of the provider’s form will not be a consideration when determining whether availability of water and sewer have been demonstrated. As stated in Section Four, A.7.b.(2)(b) and (3)(b) of the RFA, when not providing a Florida Housing Finance Corporation Verification of Availability of Infrastructure form, availability of water and sewer may be demonstrated by providing documentation from the service provider that contains the development location and the number of units and is dated within 12 months of the application deadline. The documentation may not be signed by the applicant, by any related parties of the applicant, by any principals or financial beneficiaries of the applicant, or by any local elected officials.
