The Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) recently released a draft Request for Applications (RFA) 2024-102 SAIL Financing for Smaller Permanent Supportive Housing Developments for Persons with Special Needs to their website, including and a draft of the excel Exhibit A. This RFA is open to nonprofit applicants proposing new construction or substantial rehabilitation, with or without acquisition, to create new housing to provide Permanent Supportive Housing for Persons with special needs as defined in Section 420.0004(13), Florida statutes. These persons may live in residential facilities, homeless or living in the community but lack affordable and permanent rental housing that provides assistance with housing stability and coordinated access to appropriate community-based healthcare and supportive services.

FHFC also released an RFA 2023-213 SAIL Funding for Live Local Mixed Income, Mixed-Use, And Urban Infill Developments to their website.

Finally, FHFC will host aconceptual workshop regarding RFA 2024-214 (Live Local Act Funding for Redevelopment of Properties) on December 5 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The agency will hold the workshop in person at 227 N. Bronough Street, Suite 5000 Tallahassee, FL 32301 and via webinar.
