Applications for the 2026 competitive nine percent LIHTC funding round are due by 12 noon ET Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025.
Some reminders for application submission:
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to not wait until the last few minutes to upload documents or to submit their application. Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) systems experience a high volume of activity as the application submission due date and time nears, which may cause for slower submission times;
- Applicants should ensure that project applications are named with the actual property name that will be on the project sign at placed in service; do not use just the location or development team as the application name; and
- Refer to the 2025-2026 Multifamily Guidelines for application thresholds and full submission requirements.
The window to submit application-related questions and/or pre-application waivers has closed. From now until the application submission deadline, KHC will only answer technical questions related to the Universal Funding Application (UFA) system.
