Oregon Releases Update on Consolidated Funding Cycle Redesign Process
Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) released a status update on the Consolidated Funding Cycle (CFC) redesign process. The redesigned CFC is meant to be more efficient and effective process for allocating multi-family housing resources, including the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and HOME funds.
HUD Approves First Competitive RAD Conversions
HUD approved the first round of conversions for public housing units and Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation (Mod Rehab) units under the first component of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. Under the RAD notice, HUD proposed to approve the conversion of up to 60,000 public housing units and Section 8 Mod Rehab units to Section 8 Project-Based Assistance.
NPS Updates Fee Schedule for HTC Applicants
The National Park Service (NPS) recently released a Notice in the Federal Register announcing that the agency is revising the fees it charges for reviewing Historic Preservation Certification Applications, which have not changed since 1984 and currently do not cover the costs for administering the program.
HUD Releases FY 2013 Income Limits
HUD recently released income limits for fiscal year (FY) 2013 which are used to determine the eligibility of applicants for HUD’s assisted housing programs, including the Public Housing program, the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, Section 202 housing for the elderly program, and Section 811 housing for persons with disabilities program.

Ohio Senate Passes NMTC Extension, Amends Program
The Ohio Senate recently passed Senate Bill (SB) 327, which was originally introduced in April 2012. The bill would extend the state’s New Markets Tax Credit program and raise the tax credit cap from $10 million to $50 million.
