Ocean Drive and Washington Ave Tour – Past, Present and the Future
Friday, March 1, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
This 120-minute walking tour introduces the Art Deco, Mediterranean, and Miami Modern (MiMo) styles of architecture found within the Miami Beach Historic District, the oldest Art Deco society in the world. Washington Avenue was long the commercial and civic spine of South Beach. Through the years, it has seen its ups and downs. This tour looks at some of its iconic buildings and future redevelopment plans.
