The Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) released Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the development and preservation of affordable rental through the HOME Investment Partnership program (NOFA #5003) and the 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit (NOFA #5002).
Applicants for both NOFAs must schedule a required site visit. To initiate scheduling the required site visit, send an email to: Site.Visit@Oregon.gov. The deadline to requesting visits for each NOFA is 4 p.m. PT on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019. Requests sent after 5 p.m. will not be scheduled. The scheduling request email must include:
- Sponsor’s name
- Site Name
- Site address (site to be visited)
- Contact information for person responsible for scheduling and attending the site visit
- Name of person completing the 2018 OHCS Project Site Checklist
- Fully completed 2018 OHCS Project Site Checklist including all required attachments
OHCS will hold a training for the LIHTC and HOME NOFAs on Jan. 23, 2019, at OHCS, 725 Summer Street NE, Salem, OR 97301 from 10 a.m. – noon in the first floor conference room (124A and B). The training will also be available via webinar, register here. Training materials will be available on the OHCS website after the training.
