The Alabama Housing Finance Agency’s Board of Directors approved the final 2019 HOME/Housing Credit allocation plans during its September 26 meeting. The allocation plans will be used to direct the application process and funding awards for 2019 HOME Investment Partnerships funds and Housing Credits. The plans are available for download at http://bit.ly/2i82idW.

Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) will conduct a public hearing concerning the proposed 2019 HOME Investment Partnerships Program Action Plan and the Housing Credit Qualified Allocation Plan (Plans) for the distribution of HOME funds and Housing Credits in exchange for the new construction and substantial rehabilitation of low-income projects and for the monitoring of HOME funds and Housing Credits for all projects.

Comments on the Draft 2018 HTF Plan will be accepted no later than Saturday, May 26, 2018.

Preliminary applications for the National Housing Trust Fund Program funds will be accepted by Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) on Monday, April 2nd from 9am until 5pm CST.

AHFA will accept applications for 2018 Housing Credits, 2018 HOME Investment Partnership Program funds, and 2016/2017 National Housing Trust Fund Program funds on Thursday, February 1st from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. CST. All application information is posted at http://ow.ly/f6qV30h9i05.

Registration is now open for AHFA’s HOME/Housing Credit/Housing Trust Fund Application Workshop, scheduled for Friday, December 8 at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Montgomery.
