Notice of Program Registration for Alaska’s SFY 2021 THHP
The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) is opening registration for the Teacher, Health Professional and Public Safety Housing Grant Program (THHP). Under this program, competitive funding may be available for new construction, rehabilitation or acquisition of public service professional rental housing in small communities.
Audited Financial Reporting Deadline Extended to Sept. 30 for HUD’s Multifamily West Region
HUD’s Multifamily West Region is extending the audited financial reporting deadlines until September 30, 2020. This waiver is limited to entities, which are required to submit the referenced annual financial information on or before June 30, 2020.
Alaska Notice of SFY 2021 Goal Rural Demonstration Round Preliminary Application
In September 2020, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) will announce a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for a Rural Demonstration round under its Greater Opportunity for Affordable Living (GOAL) program. Under this NOFA, AHFC will make grants, zero-interest loans and LIHTCs available for competitive allocation to successful pre-application respondents to construct new rental housing in small communities off the Alaska road system.
