Due to significant network outages experienced by the Louisiana Housing Corporation over the weekend, the deadline for submitting the online application for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funding round has been extended to 12:00 A.M. CST Thursday (midnight Wednesday), April 16, 2015.

The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) on Friday, March 20, 2015 for the preliminary commitment of approximately $5 million of HOME Investment Partnership Program funds.

The deadline for submitting 2015 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) applications for the funding round is March 16, 2015. Applicants are required to submit preliminary site information no later than March 2, 2015.

The Louisiana Housing Corporation gave notice that a public hearing on the proposed Calendar Year 2015 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) will be held at 9:00 a.m. on November 5, 2014, at the Louisiana Housing Corporation, 2415 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70808. Copies of the proposed Calendar Year 2015 QAP are available on LHC’s website.

The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) is sponsoring a Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Workshop on Thursday, December 12, 2014 at 9:30 AM. The workshop will cover, but is not limited to, a brief overview of the RAD Program, LHC Participation, and recommended ways to utilize 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Multifamily Mortgage Revenue Bonds. LHC strongly recommends that interested developers, consultants, and Louisiana Public Housing Authorities attend this meeting.
