HUD’s Office of Affordable Housing Programs has scheduled technical assistance training addressing Energy Efficiency. The Energy Efficiency course describes how a project can incorporate energy efficiency measures into rehabilitation and new construction programs. The class will discuss the Energy Star New Homes Program and Energy Star standards for appliances and products. Finally, the course will discuss other building performance issues such as water conservation, moisture control, and indoor air quality. The trainings will both be held August 26-27 in the following locations:

  • Boston HUD Office, Tip O’Neill Federal Building, 10 Causeway Street, Auditorium, 1st Floor, Boston, MA
  • Washington, DC, ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Marriott Learning Complex, Concourse Level – Wachovia Room, Washington, DC 20005-1103
