The New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority recently released its draft 2010 qualified allocation plan (QAP) for administering the federal low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program. Significant changes to the 2010 QAP include:
- The maximum project allocation is increased to $800,000, but only for urban redevelopment projects
- There is only one allocation round, in February
- The Capital Subsidy limits are being increased to reflect decreasing tax credit equity yields
- There is a new scoring category proposed based on equity pricing of the tax credit
