The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) has issued a notice to explain 2011 LIHTC credit pricing levels and the basis boost for recently funded applicants. WHEDA staff has determined that credit pricing has improved over the last year and the pricing assumptions used for the applications in 2011 were significantly below current market. Therefore, WHEDA has modified pricing and basis boost assumptions in 2011 credit awards to encourage the maximum amount of capital investment in Wisconsin and to maximize the number of projects that can reasonably be expected to be completed using market norms.
