Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) will conduct a public hearing concerning the proposed 2016 HOME Action Plan and the Housing Credit Qualified Allocation Plan (Plans) for the distribution of HOME funds and Housing Credits in exchange for the new construction and substantial rehabilitation of low-income projects and for the monitoring of HOME funds and Housing Credits for all projects.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., Central Time, at Hampton Inn & Suites, 7651 EastChase Parkway, Montgomery, Alabama, 36117.
The proposed Plans are available for download at www.ahfa.com. All other requests for copies must be submitted in writing to the attention of HOME Technician Pam Shedd, Alabama Housing Finance Authority, P.O. Box 242967, Montgomery, Alabama 36124-2967.
All interested parties are invited to submit written or oral comments at the public hearing regarding the proposed Plans. All written comments must be submitted using the AHFA-required 2016 Plan Comment Form and must be received by AHFA no later than 5pm (CST) November 6, 2015. Any persons desiring to present oral comments should appear at the public hearing.
