The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency has released a notice of proposed revisions to 2011 low-income housing tax credit program, QAP and procedural manual. The notice modifies existing scoring criteria and establishes new scoring categories. Notable changes include:
- Revise Local/Philanthropic Contributions selection criteria;
- Revise “˜Readiness to Proceed’ selection criteria;
- Revise Preservation of Federally Assisted Units scoring criteria;
- Add scoring criteria for projects that have No-Smoking Policies;
- Add scoring criteria for transit-oriented developments; and
- Establish a temporary priority for foreclosure recovery efforts.
