The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Board approved a partnership with Esusu Financial, Inc. to help families living in nine affordable housing developments funded by OHFA build their credit scores.

Comments on North Dakota’s Citizen Participation Plan Due Dec. 27
The North Dakota Department of Commerce, Division of Community Services (DCS) and North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA) seek public comment to revision of the North Dakota Citizen Participation Plan (CCP). The CCP sets forth the State of North Dakota’s policies and procedures for citizen participation in HUD’s consolidated planning process, including development of the State’s Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan and the allocation plans for the following programs: HOME Investment Partnerships, Community Development Block Grant, National Housing Trust Fund and Emergency Solutions Grant. Oregon Offers Funding for Updated Building Codes Requiring 20 Percent EV-Ready
Updated building codes, which took effect July 1, 2022, require all projects that first apply for a building permit on or after July 1, 2022 to include, at a minimum, provisions for electrical service capacity at no less than 20 percent of the vehicle parking spaces.
Florida Modifies Exhibit A in RFA 2022-201
Florida Housing posted a revised Exhibit A for RFA 2022-201 Housing Credit Financing for Affordable Housing Developments Located in Medium and Small Counties regarding the Local Government Area of Opportunity Designation (LGAO) and SunRail Goal. Currently, the “Proximity, Mand. Dist., RECAP” tab fails to reflect any automatic qualifications for the minimum total proximity points that must be achieved to be eligible for funding, even if the application otherwise appears to qualify for the SunRail Goal or the LGAO designation.
