During ongoing state budget discussions, the Ohio Senate proposed legislation that would put the state’s historic tax credit program on pause for two years. The provision would prevent the Ohio Development Services Agency from issuing rehabilitation tax credit certificates. Following backlash from advocates and developers, Senate Republicans decided to remove the provision.

The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) notified the public of proposed amendments to its

Multifamily Rental Housing Program Procedures,
Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Procedures, and
LIHTC Qualified Allocation Plan.

The Ohio Office of Planning, Preservation and Development released the final draft of the2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan. This plan will be presented to the Board of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency on Wednesday, June 17 for final consideration and approval.

Applications for the 2015 Competitive Funding Round are due by Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 5:00 PM. Applications must be delivered to the mailroom on the ground floor of 7800 Harkins Road, Lanham, Maryland 20706.
