The second draft of the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) and a red-lined version are now available on the Ohio Housing Finance Agency website. OHFA partners are encouraged to respond to drafts of the QAP by attending upcoming public hearings and public forums and by providing written comments to 2016QAPMailbox@ohiohome.org.

The New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency will propose an amendment to its Qualified Allocation Plan later this month. The amendment is being proposed to eliminate a disparity between housing projects that apply for nine-percent tax credits and those that apply for tax credits entirely from volume cap (known as four-percent tax credits) by implementing a seven-year period of ineligibility from participation in the LIHTC program for any general partner, voting member, developer, or related party who owned a managing or controlling interest in an LIHTC project when title was foreclosed thereon by entry of judgment or deed in lieu of foreclosure or that has ongoing uncorrected issues of non-compliance.

Due to significant network outages experienced by the Louisiana Housing Corporation over the weekend, the deadline for submitting the online application for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funding round has been extended to 12:00 A.M. CST Thursday (midnight Wednesday), April 16, 2015.

Colorado Housing Finance Agency opened registration to the 2015 Housing Credit Summit featuring Michael Novogradac on June 16, 2015, in downtown Denver. This one-day event will provide an opportunity for Colorado’s low income housing tax credit developers and other affordable housing stakeholders to share ideas and network with local and national industry experts.​

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) and Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) released the following updates to the notice of funding availability (NOFA).

The California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) announced the Conduit Issuer Program, a new program that helps affordable housing developers access tax-exempt and taxable bond funds to aid in the preservation and development of affordable housing projects throughout California.

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Agency will host 2015 Tax Credit Compliance Workshops on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Madison and Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Brookfield. This course is intended as an overview of the program, compliance requirement and WHEDA’S monitoring procedures.

Any applicant seeking tax credits from the 2015 State Housing Credit Ceiling or any Low Income Housing Tax Credits must submit a pre-registration form to the West Virginia Housing Development Fund by Tuesday, April 7.
