About the Faculty

Bob Lefenfeld, Founding Principal, Real Property Research Group, Inc.

Bob Lefenfeld is Founding Principal of Real Property Research Group, Inc. (RPRG), a market research firm with offices in Columbia, Maryland, and Atlanta, Georgia. He has over 40 years of experience in the field of residential market research. Prior to founding RPRG, Bob served as an officer of research subsidiaries of the accounting firm of Reznick Fedder & Silverman and Legg Mason. Bob also served as research director for a regional homebuilder. Bob started his professional career with the Baltimore Metropolitan Council as a housing economist.
Bob has lectured and written extensively on the subject of residential real estate market analysis. He has developed and taught the market research module for the Mortgage Bankers Association training program to certify MAP underwriters and has served on the adjunct faculty of the Graduate Programs in Real Estate Development, School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, University of Maryland College Park. Bob is a former National Chair of the National Council of Housing Market Analysts (NCHMA) and currently serves as Chair of its FHA committee.

Rob Vogt, Managing Partner, Vogt Strategic Insight

Robert Vogt has conducted and reviewed over 10,000 market study analyses over the past 35 years for market-rate and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) apartments as well as studies for single-family, condominiums, office, retail and elderly housing throughout the United States. Mr. Vogt is a founding member and a former National Chairman of the National Council of Housing Market Analysts (NCHMA), and currently serves its Executive Committee. He is a frequent speaker at real estate and state housing conferences. Mr. Vogt has a bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate and urban land economics from The Ohio State University.
