Internet Access Now Eligible as a Supportive Service for Seniors
HUD’s Office of Multifamily Housing issued a notice, recognizing Wi-Fi and internet access as a “supportive service” to help seniors “address health and social support needs.” Section 202 PRAC owners and agents may now use supportive services funds to pay for Wi-Fi networks and/or in-unit internet access for individual residents.
