Establishing Flexibility for Implementation of Work Requirements and Term Limits: Verification of Eligible Status: What’s Next: It is not clear when, or if, HUD will publish these draft rules. If they do publish these rules, there would be a public comment period before adoption.
State legislators shared concerns with the state LIHTC program, Kansas Affordable Housing Tax Credit (KAHTC), during a Legislative Post Audit committee meeting. Advocacy is needed to educate legislators on the benefits of KAHTC to prevent negative changes or elimination of the program.
HUD published guidance for PHAs and their development partners for projects using both RAD and Section 18 disposition authority (“RAD/Section 18 Blends”).
