Arizona Posts 2020 LIHTC Documents, Application Workshop 1/21

ADOH will hold the 2020 LIHTC Application Workshop on January 21, 2020 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm MT at the Desert Willow Conference Center. Developers (or their co-developer or consultant) who plan to submit an application in the 2020 round must attend this annual training. The deadline to register is January 13, 2020.

Arizona Meets with Potential VA RFP Developers

On October 25 the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) issued an Information Bulletin announcing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Development of Veterans Housing in Prescott. Arizona Announces 2020 Trainings

The Arizona Department of Housing will host a LIHTC Application Workshop on January 21, 2020; a HOME Compliance on November 19, 2020; LIHTC Compliance Workshops on February 12-13, 2020 in Phoenix, July 15-16, 2020 in Phoenix and October 21-22, 2020 in Tucson. The 2019 QAP requires that property managers LIHTC projects attend ADOH approved compliance training annually.

Arizona Posts Second Draft 2020 QAP – Comments Due October 15

The Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) posted the second draft of its 2020 QAP. The second draft restores the calculation of the Developer Fee to 2019 levels pending further research. ADOH may create a working group to gather data and provide input regarding methods to reduce the overall cost to build new affordable housing, including the cost of fees associated with its development, to further maximize the number of people that can be housed with the limited resources available to the State.

Arizona Posts Draft 2020 QAP – Comments Due September 10

The Arizona Department of Housing posted its first draft of the 2020 QAP. Comments should be submitted by 5:00 pm MST on September 10 to rental-qap@azhousing.gov. The Arizona Department of Housing will hold two focus group discussions on the draft 2020 QAP on August 21 and 27.
