Downtown Development District Grants Available in Delaware

Grant rebates of up to 20 percent are available on qualified investments in commercial, industrial, residential or mixed-use buildings or facilities located within the designed downtown districts in Wilmington, Dover and Seaford. Large Project applications will be due to to the Delaware State Housing Authority by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016.

The Bank’s 2015 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) funding round opened June 8 with approximately $23 million in funding available. Applications are due August 11. Funding is available for projects in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

On December 3, the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) issued the first of three tax-exempt multi-family bonds for the 4% LIHTC that DSHA plans to issue in December 2014. Delaware Neighborhood Assistance Act Program FY2014

The Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) announced the authorization of the Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) FY 2014. The NAA Program encourages businesses and individuals who pay Delaware state income taxes to invest in programs serving impoverished neighborhoods or serving low- and moderate-income families. In exchange for a qualified contribution, the NAA provides state tax credits equal to 50% of the investment. There is a maximum of $500,000 in tax credits available and DSHA will resume accepting NAA applications on a first-come, first-served basis.

Delaware Releases Draft 2013 QAP

The Delaware State Housing Authority has released draft versions of its 2013 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP), cover sheet, and attachments. The draft contains several changes from the 2012 QAP.
